OUR FAMILY
BIBLE
Our Farrant family bible is where my genealogy really got it's start.
When my great grandparents Henry and Gertrude moved to Canada, the rest of their
families stayed in Britain. Henry's sister Sarah researched the family and wrote
the information and short bits of family stories in this bible to send to her
brother in Canada for Christmas in 1931. Later entries by Henry and his son
Cyprian (my grandfather) show that it was a treasured link to the life left
behind, and remains so to this day, as I consider it one of my most prized
possessions now that my father has entrusted it to my care.
